- What medium are you using and how does it work with the
idea, subject and style?
- What is the subject matter? Why? Is the subject worth the
work?
- Is the image thought provoking?
- Is the image creative?
- How is the composition? Does it work?
- Does the composition assist the idea or mood of the work?
- How does the color work in the piece, are they the right
colors for the mood or subject?
- Is the picture universally or easily understood?
- Is it artistically innovative, new, or arresting to the
artworld?
- Are you comfortable with the misinterpretations it may have?
- Does the work comment on our culture and era? What does
it say?
- Is this something your SOUL wishes to express? ie.. are
you using your talent of art wisely?
