Artist's statement:
Most often, my work illustrates psychological states. Sometimes I think
of these states as places in space and time that are expressed through
a surreal landscape. A change in one's state of mind, mood or outlook can
directly affect their view of the world. The realities we each experience
depend heavily on the worlds inside ourselves. Each person has a body that
filters information through his or her senses, moods and chemistries, differently.
My work reflects many different states and points of perception and expresses
an ongoing study of the human being. I am fascinated by the relationship
between inner and outter worlds and how they affect eachother and fade into
one another, becoming indistinguishable.
